Biography
Dr. Joel A. Garcia is part of a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers specializing in Cardiovascular Diseases, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Structural Heart Disease at the University of Colorado Hospital and Denver Health Medical Center. Dr. Garcia mostly works as an Interventional Cardiologist with training in advanced percutaneous therapies for coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and structural heart disease. He has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Endovascular Board and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Garcia received his MD from the “Madre y Maestra†Pontifical Catholic University in Santiago, Dominican Republic where he was born and raised. He completed his residency at Wayne State University, Michigan and his Cardiovascular Diseases.
